At the recent national Peace Camp event, our ramblers were in fine form invited along with  some others by Amateur Photography magazine   to trial a range of Olympus cameras, - a prize of a camera going to the winning shot.

The magazine issue date Saturday 20 October 2012 has a two page spread pp20-21 showing the fun had by ramblers Norma Mckellar (Sheerlight Photography), James Thow (and Dru Dodd. They had the opportunity to play with various cameras including the Pen E-P3 and the impressive mirrorless four thirds system OM-D E-M5, even though the installation was hampered by torrential downpour.

The winning shot turned out to be the mono version  portrait by Norma McKellar, taken of the very photogenic model Cali  Stuttart (pseudonym Mamselle Coco). The Peace camp itself was inspired by the excellent actress Fiona Shaw, comprising a soundscape of poetry thrumming through the evening air dusk till dawn whilst an installation of small semi spherical tents glowed along the wonderful Dunstanburgh coastline. All in all a fine adventure...
here are the colour and mono portrait shots:

Found a listing on the artcalendr.com website for our exhibition at ACW.
It was showing a option to add images as a slide show, so I made a few 'posters' and added them. The word is getting out.
